A certified mediator under Business and Professions Code Sections 465 et. seq., Matt A. Dudics is also a seasoned litigator and active trial attorney who brings his 18 years of courtroom experience to the dispute resolution arena. With extensive experience litigating, negotiating, and trying personal injury (auto) cases, Mr. Dudics utilizes a no-nonsense approach to quickly assess case strengths and weaknesses, and start a settlement dialogue early in the session. Having a broad base of experience in other legal areas such as premises/products liability, commercial litigation, and attorney/broker malpractice; Mr. Dudics is able to achieve settlement success in a wide variety of civil disputes. There are no additional administrative fees or charges for review of materials. Mediation fees for referrals through Hoffman & Pomerantz are $250, per hour, three-hour minimum.

With over 30 years experience as a civil litigator and trial attorney, James McKanna has focused the nature of his legal practice on alternative dispute resolution consisting of mediation, arbitration and early neutral evaluation. Mr. McKanna is firmly committed to the non-threatening, mutual and amicable resolution of disputes inherent in the mediation process. Mediation can and should be a win/win proposition allowing the parties direct participation in the resolution of their dispute. Mr. McKanna uses his broad based litigation skills and cutting edge dispute resolution training to quickly evaluate matters while utilizing an open and facilitative approach designed to create a calm and non-hostile environment conducive to resolution. His services are flexible, accessible and affordable. Trained at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Mr. McKanna is able to mediate and arbitrate a wide variety of matters including personal injury, construction defect, premises liability, professional liability including medical malpractice, toxic torts, mold infestation, breach of contract, real estate, insurance, product liability and public entity matters. A large part of his legal career was dedicated to Plaintiffs and Defense civil litigation matters. As a result of understanding these competing interests, he has earned a settlement rate which far exceeds the norm. He has mediated in excess of 150 matters and arbitrated approximately 65. Will travel but also has hearing facilities in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino Counties. Fees generally in $l50.00 - $ 250.00/hr range as circumstances dictate but will consider alternative pricing schedules including full day, half day, and flat rate fees.
